Avengers: Infinity War

Avengers: Infinity War is what you’d get if you took The Avengers and made them a thousand times bigger. By this point in the MCU, a lot of new superheroes have made appearances in Infinity War to protect everyone from Thanos and his terrible goal to restore the cosmic balance. Given the number of people, universes, and weaponry that were involved, it would be an understatement to say that this movie might have been a mess, yet the Russo brothers managed to tie everything together into one of the best Marvel movies ever.

The following are being featured in the movie: Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, and Robert Downey Jr.

Released on: April 27, 2018

Thor: Ragnarok

Thor’s film career had been a little… terrible up until Ragnarok. Really while the original Thor movie isn’t terrible, it isn’t amazing either, and do we even need to mention Thor: The Dark World? Marvel originally struggled with the theatrical superhero who seemed more at home in a Shakespeare play than in the present world. One of the funniest movies in the MCU, Ragnarok, was made possible by director Taika Waititi’s brilliant decision to accept the humor of the character rather than try to deny it.

The following are being featured in the movie: Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, and Cate Blanchett.

Released on: November 3, 2017

Guardians of the Galaxy

The Guardians of the Galaxy may not seem like a very ideal superhero team given as they include a raccoon, a tree, a daughter of Thanos, a regretful killer, and a fun, wise, and joke-cracking man child, yet they might compete with The Avengers. Although the first Guardians movie’s concept initially didn’t exactly connect to non-comic book enthusiasts (did I just say the raccoon?), it is now regarded as one of the greatest Marvel films ever made. And that’s in large part because of its crazy sense of humor and superb soundtrack.

We adore the Guardians because they aren’t afraid to have fun while saving the day, generally because they aren’t sure whether they are the heroes or the villains depending on how they are feeling at the time. They may argue and snark at one another frequently, but they are still a family. A dangerous and very dysfunctional group.

The following are being featured in the movie: Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, and Lee Pace.

Released on: August 1, 2014

Captain America: Civil War

Everyone’s favorite superhero team split up in Avengers 2.5 which is also called the Captain America: Civil War, over a dispute regarding their autonomy. Team Iron Man are on opposite sides, and when their two teams clash, you get one fantastic superhero movie. One of the reasons Civil War is one of the best Marvel films is that it brought the lengthy conflict between Captain America and Iron Man to a tragic new level, tearing apart the superhero family we had grown to know and love. Additionally, Black Panther, clearly one of the best new superheroes in the MCU, was introduced.

The following are being featured in the movie: Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., and Scarlett Johansson

Released on: May 6, 2016

Avengers: Endgame

What is the greatest Marvel film, in our opinion? Avengers: Endgame. Given that it is the ultimate point of the Infinity Saga, it could seem like a pretty obvious top choice, but there is more to it than that. Aside from the many standout scenes (Cap wielding Mjölnir, which brave female superhero climax, and finally hearing Cap shout “Avengers, assemble”), Endgame also explains time travel to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This is not only really amazing in terms of what it means for upcoming movies, but it also allowed us to revisit some of the MCU’s most critical moments before bidding the MCU farewell with tears in our eyes.

We lost not one, not two, but three of the original Avengers in Endgame, so it was an emotional event. None of the goodbyes were pleasant for fans, but they were ideal for that protagonist the fact that Tony and Natasha literally dating the world and Captain go the moment he wanted in his life.

The following are being featured in the movie: Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, and Chris Evans

Released on: April 26, 2019
