Webviewgold is an iPhone and iPad app that uses augmented reality to let you add digital objects to real-world photos and videos.
One Signal Notification Service (OSNS) is a free, open-source iOS app that lets you send push notifications from your apps to your users’ devices. OSNS was created by Facebook and is used in many of the company’s own apps. OSNS is also used in the Facebook Messenger app, but Facebook has not released it as a standalone app.

If you try to build the Webviewgold Xcode project using the Xcode 10 beta version, you may get the following error:

“One Signal Notification Service Extension target not found.”

Apple has released a new build of Xcode that includes a fix for a bug that caused one of the signals notifications service extension targets to crash on OSX. This bug caused the extension to fail to launch and resulted in the notification service not being available.

If you’re using an Apple device and you’re using Webviewgold, make sure to update your Xcode to the latest build.

The problem could be a bug or that some extension may need to be removed.

When I try to build my Webviewgold project in Xcode, I get the following error:

This seems to be a problem with one of my extensions, as evidenced by the message: “One Signal Notification Service Extension Target not found.”
I’ve tried removing some extensions and rebuilding, but nothing seems to work. Any help would be much appreciated!

If possible, reinstall the system/extensions and try again

If you are experiencing an error when trying to build Webviewgold in Xcode, it may be due to a missing system or extensions. To reinstall the system or extensions and try again:

1. Open Xcode
2. Select “Tools” from the menu bar and select “Extensions”
3. Locate the Webviewgold extension in the list of installed extensions and click on it to open its settings window.
4. Under “General”, make sure that the “Target” field is set to “iOS 8.0 (or later)” and click on the “Install” button.
5. After the extension has been installed, click on the “Build” button in the extension’s settings window and then try building Webviewgold again.

Wait for Apple’s next build notification system update

Webviewgold Xcode Build Error: One Signal Notification Service Extension Target

Apple has released a new build notification system update for developers. This update is required in order to continue using the Webviewgold Xcode Build service. If you have not yet updated your project, now is the time!

In order to use this new build notification system, you will need to first install the latest Apple build notification system update. Once you have installed the update, follow these instructions to enable the build notification service in your project:

1. Open your project in Xcode.
2. Select your project in the Project Navigator.
3. Click on the “Build Settings” tab in the main window.
4. Under “General”, click on “Messages and Notifications”.
5. In the “Notification Center Configuration” section, check the box next to “Signal Notifications Service”.
6. Click on the “OK” button to close the “Build Settings” tab and return to your project window.
7. From within your project, click on “Run” and then select “Command Line”.
8. Type these two commands into the Command
